= flowmon = flowmon is a Network-Flow monitoring system written in Python an PHP whose development was sponsored as a Diploma Thesis by Red Hat. Currently it supports Cisco !NetFlow v9 as it is the most common !NetFlow protocol in use. Rudimentary support for sFlow v5 has been added but is not yet feature complete. Development of flowmon has focused on easy extendability and a modular design and a plugin architecture allowing the easy addition of other supported protocols and different charting of the captured data. As a backend storage both MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported.
